Elsie G. (Robbins) Pedro, 81, of Wareham died January 24, 2007 at Forestview Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late Edmundo Pedro.
Born in Attleboro, the daughter of the late Ulysses and Edith (Norton) Robbins, she had lived in New Bedford for most of her life before moving to Wareham in 1975.
Mrs. Pedro was a member of the Community of Christ Church, formerly known as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She loved dancing, reading, traveling, bowling and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna R. Parker of Dartmouth and Cynthia Monteiro of Onset; a son, Richard Pedro of Oceanside, California; three sisters, Eleanor Coyne of Texas, Edith Harwood of Fairhaven, and Lois Raynor of Rhode Island; four grandchildren, Toni Lee Goncalves of Brockton, Lindsey Beth Hutchinson of Dartmouth, Evan Pedro and Eliza Pedro, both of Oceanside, CA; a great-grandson, Javahn; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Visiting Hours will be held on Monday 4-7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford.
