Glenna R. “Betty” Carroll, 76, died Sunday at the Brockton Hospital, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Christopher Candito and the late Donald Carroll.
She is survived by her three sons Christopher Candito of Whitman , Glenn Candito of Halifax and Wayne Carroll of Whitman ;her two brothers , Raymond Page of Hingham and Arthur Page of RI.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Born in Tewksbury, and has been a resident of Whitman since 1966.
Betty worked at the Duvals Pharmacy, in Whitman for many years.
She was a member of the Holy Ghost Church, the Knights of Columbus and the South Shore Irish American Society, all in Whitman.
She enjoyed, cake decorating and doll making.
Her Funeral will be held Wednesday January 24th at 9:15 A.M. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 A.M. in the Holy Ghost Church, School Street, Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman. Visiting hours Tuesday January 23rd 4-8 P.M.
