Griffin – Catherine G. “Kay”, age 97 years, of West Roxbury, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2007. Daughter of the late Michael J. and Catherine (Coyne) Griffin. Loving sister of the late Daniel F. Griffin, Michael J. Griffin, James L. Griffin, Joseph A. Griffin, Mary J. Kilmain, Anna and Elizabeth Griffin. Devoted aunt to Mary Jo Kilmain of West Roxbury, Nancy and her husband Frank Crowley of Medfield, Catherine and her husband Daniel Leonard of Naples, FL, Michael Griffin of Houston, TX, Charles E. and his wife Carol Kilmain of West Roxbury, Elizabeth Griffin of Boston, Bernardine and her husband the late Richard Stephenson of Dedham, Robert Griffin of Dedham, Faith Griffin and her husband John Lenhart of FL, Virginia and her husband the late Daniel F. Griffin, Jr. of Westwood, and the late Joseph and Michael J. Griffin, Jr. Also survived by 20 great nieces and nephews, and 32 great, great nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Saturday January 27, at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in The Holy Name Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours on Friday January 26, from 4-8 PM. Kay was a former supervisor for the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, the Proparvulis Club of Boston, the League of Catholic Women, and the Holy Name Guild.
