Obituary

Jacob “Jake” Baron of Chelsea and Revere died on January 19, 2007 at the age of 93.

Born and raised in Chelsea, Jake attended the Chelsea Schools and graduated from Chelsea High. Shortly thereafter, he devoted his time to serving his country where he was a World War Two Naval Veteran, Seaman First Class. Following his service, he worked for Cutler’s Café in Chelsea as a manager for many years. Jake belonged to many charitable and civic organizations including membership in the Jack Satter House Tenants Association and Congregation 420 at the Jack Satter House.

Jake was the beloved husband of the late Edith (Cutler). He was the devoted father of James Baron and his wife Kathy of Winthrop and Diane DiMino and her husband Salvatore of Revere. He was also the loving grandfather of Julianna DiMino.

Funeral services will be held at Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Avenue (Cary Sq.) CHELSEA on Monday, January 22nd at 11:00 AM. Rabbi Earl Kideckel will officiate. Burial will take place at A.A.A. Sfard Cemetery in Lynn, MA.
