Philip Castelone, died Friday in Henderson, Nevada following a brief illness, the husband of the late Margaret (Maggio). He was eighty-eight years old.
A long time Medford resident, he moved to Florida in 1979 and later to Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a machinist, for General Electric and Raytheon for many years. Phil enjoyed being with his family and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his two sons; Charles and his wife Carol of Las Vegas, NV., Joseph and his wife Mary of Woburn; and a daughter Dolores Petrone Castelone of Henderson, NV. Nine loving grandchidren and thirteen loving great grandchildren.Also many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brothers Charles and Frank Castelone, his sisters Camile DeStefano, Mary Vozella, Josephine Palmieri, Jeanne Venuti and Antonette Graziano.
His funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church 118 High St. Medford at 11. Interment will be private.
