Joseph J. Donnelly, 81, died at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday, January 20 after a brief illness. He was the husband of Theresa M. (Heger) Donnelly. Born and educated in Boston, he was a resident of Easton for 52 years. Mr. Donnelly was an U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and was very proud of his military service. In his early years he was a mechanic for the local railroad. He then became a manager at Longwood Towers in Brookline for many years before his retirement several years ago.
Mr. Donnelly is survived by his children, Joseph J. Donnelly of Plymouth and Kathleen M. Gusciora of Stoughton and his grandchildren, Kimberly Gusciora and Kevin Gusciora.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, January 24 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Easton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Easton.
