WORCESTER-Carol A. (Snair) Plante, 61, of Worcester died Wednesday, January 17th in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after a sudden illness. She leaves her son, Christopher; her brother Paul Snair and his wife Donna; 3 nephews, Jason, Jeremy and Justin; a much loved pet, Alex; many friends and co-workers. Her brother, Thomas, predeceased her.
Carol was born in Worcester, the daughter of Margaret T. (Carroll) Snair and Earl C. Snair. She attended St. Mary’s High School and South High School in Worcester. After graduating from Worcester State College with a degree in speech pathology and psychology, she worked for many years as a therapist and teacher in Marlborough and Leicester.
There are no calling hours. Burial will be private at All Faiths Cemetery in Worcester. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Leicester Primary School Volunteers, 170 Paxton Street, Leicester, MA 01524. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is directing arrangements.
