Leslie W. Carr, Sr., 79, of Derry, NH, died Friday, January 19, 2007 in the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry. Mr. Carr was born in Malden, MA on June 12, 1927, a son of the late Harry A. and Alberta (Harris) Carr. He was a resident of Derry for the past 10 years, formerly living in Staten Island, NY. Mr. Carr was a WWII Navy veteran.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, the burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Staten Island, NY at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
