Carney and Helen R. Kearney both of Brockton.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 pm.
Obituary
Mrs. Hallisey died Monday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a lengthy. Born in Brockton, a daughter of the late Michael J. and Helen (Mahoney) Carney, she had been a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of St. Patrick High School, Class of 1946. She attended Fischer Jr. College in Boston.
For many years she was employed by the City of Brockton in the Auditors Office; License Commission and the Brockton Public Library. She was a former member of Catholic Charities and the Brockton and National Democratic Committees. Mrs. Hallisey enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John J. Hallisey, 4 daughters Jayne E. Hallisey of Forestdale, Ann M. Addivinola of Revere, Susan T. Tropea of E. Sandwich and Joan E. Hallisey of Revere, 3 grandchildren, one brother Edward J. Carney and one sister Helen R. Kearney both of Brockton. Also several nieces and nephewsShe was the sister of the late Mary C.
