WORCESTER-Thomas P. Witowski, 56, of 2 Daly Street died Monday, December 3rd in UMass-Memorial Healthcare, Belmont Street Campus after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 29 years Judith E. (Bean) Witowski, 2 daughters; Sara A. Holbrook of Paxton and Amy Witowski of Worcester, his mother Margaret F. (Sherman) Witowski of Worcester; a brother Raymond Witowski of Shrewsbury, 3 grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
He was born in Worcester, his father was the late Theodore T. Witowski. Mr. Witowski was a graduate of Classical High School and Wentworth Institute in Boston. He was a Vietnam Era Navy veteran. Mr. Witowski had been employed by Digital Equipment Corporation in Shrewsbury for 26 years as a systems analyst. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish, American Legion Post 204 in West Boylston, and was an active member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Mr. Witowski was an avid coin collector.
The funeral will be Friday, December 7th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday, December 6th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
