Bridgewater - Jean-Louis Berube, 51, of Bridgewater, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Anna (Smith) Berube.
Born June 22, 1955, in Edmonston, New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of Armand Berube of Edmonston, New Brunswick, Canada and the late Rena (Cyr) Berube.
Born and raised in Edmonston, New Brunswick, Canada, Mr. Berube had been a resident of Bridgewater for the past 30 years.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Benson Enterprises in Easton for 30 years.
Mr. Berube was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
He was a social member of the Bridgewater Vets Club and enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his children, Mark, Patrick and Michael Berube, all of Bridgewater, and Mary Berube of Taunton; he was also the grandfather of Genevieve and Victoria; brother of Micheline Theriault of Quebec and the late Romeo Berube. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral service will be held in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Saturday 10 am. Visiting hours are Friday 4-8 pm. Burial is private.
