Mary Rose (Battisti) Borzumato of Andover, beloved wife of the late Frank A. Borzumato, died at the Prescott House in North Andover on January 13, 2007. She was 96 years old.
Born in Italy on December 26, 1910, Mary was the loving daughter of the late Terenzio and Augusta (Borgogelli) Battisti. She had been a long time communicant of St. Michael Church in Hudson, Massachusetts.
She will be sorely missed by two daughters and two sons-in-law; Augusta M. and her husband Joseph Dadiego of Andover and Barbara M. an her husband Ronald Meyer of New York, one son and daughter-in-law; Lawrence and his wife Judy Borzumato of Virginia, twelve grandchildren, fourteen grandchildren, one brother; Phillip Battisti of Virginia and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by one son; Paul L. Borzumato, one brother; Mario Battisti and one grandchild.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Augustine Church 43 Essex Street, Andover, Thursday, January 18, 2007, at 10:30 AM. Calling hours were in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Wednesday, January 17, 2007, from 4 to 8 PM. Burial was in St. Michael Cemetery, Hudson.
