WARE – Veronica Badura, 90, of 157 West Street, died Tuesday, January 16, at home after being stricken ill.
She leaves her caregivers, Marion and Terry Haynes with whom she lived, and a close friend, Linda C. Cournoyer of Webster. Her sister, Catherine Badura, died in 2002.
She was born and raised in Webster, a daughter of John and Veronica (Filor) Badura. She was a member of Ware Community Church.
Her caregivers wish to thank the Department of Mental Retardation, South Valley Office in Southbridge, especially Mary O’Brien; the Seven Hills Family Services in Worcester; and Tri-Valley Elder Services in Dudley for their support and care.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 30, in Ware Community Church, 8 South St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to Mary Lane Adult Day Care Health Center, 40 Chestnut St., Ware, MA 01082. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St.,Webster.
