Helga B.Peiser, 85, of Putnam Pike, Greenville, died Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Hospice St. Antoine in North Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Adolf E. Peiser.
Born in Potsdam, Germany, the daughter of the late Hans & Martha (Leisel) Fritze. She had been a resident of Greenville for four years and had previously lived in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Windsor Locks, CT.
She was very devoted to her family, an avid volunteer for various organizations while in South Carolina and an active member of Our Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenville.
She was the beloved mother of Ingrid Boette of Randolph Center, VT, Christine Grosso of Merrimack, NH, Wolfdietrich “Dieter” Peiser of Munster, IN, Rudy Peiser of Woodstock, CT; and the beloved grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 in Our Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, 54 Cedar Swamp Road, Smithfield. Visitation respectfully omitted. Burial will be in Southeast Memorial Gardens, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Our Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, 54 Cedar Swamp Road, Smithfield, RI 02917.
