Constance N. "Connie" Centrella, 88 of Medford, died Monday after a brief illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Medford, MA.
Born in Malden, she lived in Medford for 65 years and was the daughter of the late Camille (Cannelli) and Casimiro Barricelli.
Connie was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, tendering to her family, playing bingo and cards.
Beloved wife of the late James Centrella. Devoted mother of Anna Faulkner and her husband Jim of Billerica, Marie Campbell and her husband John of Lynn, Virginia Scalfani and her husband Frank of Medford, Terry Poehlman of Michigan, Carol Yeshilian and her husband Robert of New Hampshire, Joseph Centrella of Salem, Loretta Mallardo and her husband Frank of Groton, MA. Also survived by 12 loving grandchildren and 10 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Patrick Barricelli of Wakefield, Richard Barricelli of Malden and the late Mary, Angie, and Muffy.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
