Edwin J. Langley, age 64, died peacefully after a long illness, on Friday, October 11, 2002 at his home in West Roxbury.
He was born in Quincy on January 12, 1938 a son of the late Lehan R. and Millicent F. (Murray) Langley. Edwin was a former member of the Massachusetts National Guard from 1955 to 1956 before joining the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1956 to 1959. Edwin retired after 20 years as an inspector from the Poloroid Corporation in 1996.
Edwin was the partner of the late John Creedon. He is the loving brother of Paul and his wife Gail Langley of Arlington, Joseph and his wife Anne Langley of Medford, Maryann and her husband William Mahoney of Medford, David Langley of S. Boston, Karen and her husband George Couto of Derry, NH and the late Lehan Langley, Jr. and Ellen Langley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral arrangements were handled by Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford.
