McKENNA, Theresa (Flannery)- Of Malden, formerly of Allston-Brighton, unexpectedly, January 15th. Devoted wife of the late Carlton "Buddy" McKenna. Beloved mother of Robert J. McKenna and his wife Maria of Tewksbury, Kevin C. McKenna and his wife Hope of Hanson, Stephen J. McKenna and his wife Heidi of Arlington, Thomas A. McKenna and his wife Margaret of Malden and Carolann Baron and her husband Christopher of Everett. Dear sister of Ann O'Sullivan of Quincy, Lena Regan of Weymouth and the late Thomas Flannery and Mary Gillis. Cherished grandmother of Kristen, Stephen, K.C., Tori, Megan, Thomas, Colin and Cameron. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Thursday morning, January 18th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, MALDEN at 10 o'clock. Born in Ireland and a resident of the Allston-Brighton area prior to coming to Malden in 1984, Theresa, at 72 years of age, passed away unexpectedly at home early Monday morning. A member of the Malden VFW Aux., Theresa worked for Sears in their Brookline and Saugus stores until her retirement in 1990.
