Long-Jessie M., age 98 of Moultonboro, NH, formerly of Medford and Roxbury passed away on January 13th at the Golden View Health Care Center in Meredith, NH. She was the beloved wife of the late William N. Long; the mother of Anna Marie Froelich and her husband Joseph of Moultonboro, NH and Frederick Long and his wife Jo Ann of Winthrop; the grandmother of Mary, Joseph, William, Frederick Jr., Joseph and Christopher; the great grandmother of Nick, Mike, Tim, Bri Anna, Danny, Audra, Braden, Tianna and Justin; and the sister of the late Joseph Williams, Elizabeth O’Brien, William Leach and Charles Leach. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jessie was born in Philadelphia, PA on Sept. 8, 1908. She was a resident of Roxbury for over 60 years before moving to Medford where she lived for over 25 years. Jessie was a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church in Malden serving on the Damien Guild for several years. She was also a member of the “60 club” at Immaculate Conception and a member of AARP in Medford. Funeral services from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Thursday Jan. 18th at 8:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church in Malden at 9 AM. Relatives & friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
