George J. Desrosiers,62, of Vincent Drive, Johnston, an Auto body technician, for East Side Auto Body for 15 years before retiring in 2006, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at his home. He was the husband of Barbara J. (Heelon) Desrosiers. They were married May 21, 1966.
Born in SanFrancisco, CA he was a son of the late Norman E. Desrosiers and Viola (Nicolella) Desrosiers of Johnston. He had served in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his children Ronald J.(Lori) and Michael J. (Tiffany)Desrosiers and Dawn M. (Gary) Feole all of Johnston and Melissa M. (Edward) Bailey of Coventry, seven grandchildren and a great-grandson. He was the father of the late Kevin J. Desrosiers. He is also survived by a sister Claudette A. Susi of Grovetown, GA and a brother, Norman Desrosiers of Johnston.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00am from the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00amm in St. Brigid’s Church, 1231 Plainfield Pike, Johnston. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation Wednesday 4-7pm.
