Dorothy M. Robitaille, 76, of Candlewood Drive, Greenville, a bookkeeper for the former Clover Bead Chain Company of Pawtucket, RI retiring in 1992, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at home with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Victor J. Robitaille for they had been married for 57 years.
Born in Norwich, CT, she was a daughter of the late Humphrey & Yvonne (Phaneuf) Brennan. She was a resident of Greenville for the past 38 years and had previously lived in Taftville, CT.
Besides her husband she is survived by four sons, Thomas V. Robitaille of Greenville,RI , Ernest J. Robitaille of Shrewsbury, MA, John P. Robitaille of East Hartford, CT, Robert D. Robitaille of Stratford, CT, 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a brother, Michael Brennan, of Norwich, CT, two sisters, Elizabeth Brennan-Mossey, Huntington, NY, and Janette MarcAurel, of Florida. Dorothy was the mother of the late Anne L. Robitaille Walker.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, January 17th at 10:00 am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, January 16th from 4:00PM till 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Cedar Wood Foundation, 86 Lomard St., Newton, MA 02458.
