
Mrs. Ivory Woodard Belcher, age 86, died Saturday, January 13, 2007, at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley, MS. She was the wife of the late Cleveland Belcher, Sr. She was a factory worker at Valley Fresh and a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening and catering. She was a member of Rocky Mountain MB Church in Water Valley, MS.
The visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 from 5 to 7 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. George Forrest presiding. Burial will follow in Rocky Mountain Cemetery with Gregory Woodard, Lenair Person, Dale Woodard, Willie Gayten, Lonnie (Bean) Johnson, James Woodard, Michael Gooch, & Ken Gooch serving as pallbearers.
She is survived by four daughters, Betty Bowman of Hesperia, CA, Dorothy Bishop of Memphis, TN, Linda Cox of Water Valley, MS, & Ruby Turner of Oxford, MS; three sons, Cleveland Belcher of Fontana, CA, Frank Belcher of Water Valley, MS, Randy Belcher of Brookhaven, MS; two sisters, Edith Woodard & Betty Woodard both of Water Valley, MS; three brothers, James Woodard of Water Valley, MS, Dave Woodard of Water Valley, MS, & Clinton Woodard, Jr. of Memphis, TN; 26 Grandchildren; 32 Great Grandchildren; & 12 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Mrs. Belcher was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Belcher, Sr.; her parents, Clinton & Rachel Woodard; a son, Danny Belcher; a sister, Mary Telford; & five brothers, Alvin Woodard, Luther Woodard, Bill Woodard, L.V. Woodard, & L.D. Woodard.
