Robert F. Dunn, 72, of Ledyard, passed away Thursday at his home.
Mr. Dunn was born in Stamford on November 13, 1934 the son of the late Charles and Katherine Dunn. He retired from SNET in 1995 after 39 years of service. In his retirement, he worked at Columbia Air Services at the Groton-New London Airport.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Waring Dunn; his children, Michael C. Dunn and his wife Lisa of Ledyard, Thomas J. Dunn of Ledyard, Katherine A. Dunn of East Haven, James P. Dunn and Robert J. Dunn, both of Ledyard; 2 grandchildren, Patrick and Kelly Dunn; a sister, Katherine Kelly and her husband Joseph of MA; 2 nieces and a nephew, Elizabeth Kelly, Eileen Lillis, and John Kelly. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles J. Dunn.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Rte. 12, Gales Ferry on Wednesday, January 24th at 11am. Relatives and friends are invite to attend. There are no visiting hours.
