Florence K. (Charnecke) Medeiros, 83, died unexpectedly at home in Stoughton on Friday, January 12. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Sophie (Mendowska) Charnecke. Born in Brockton, she was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Retiring at 66, Mrs. Medeiros was a billing clerk at F. C. Phillips in Stoughton for over forty years. She found great pleasure in gardening and yard work. Florence enjoyed watching sports, especially football. She also loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. Medeiros is survived by her daughter Carol A. Ornellas of Avon. She was the aunt of Richard and Ronald Cassiani. Mrs. Medeiros was also the sister of the late Victoria Cassiani.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, January 16 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton, at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 4-7 PM. Donations in Florence’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701. Interment will be at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton
