Jewel Rheunette Wright Bryan, 88, of Tifton, died Thursday, January 11, 2007, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2007, at Waterloo Baptist Church. Rev. Donnie Wright and Rev. Jim Berry will officiate with burial to follow in Waterloo Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be William Jefferson Wright, Ronnie McCurdy, Steve Hogan, Randy Thompson, Larry Jordan and Charles Joiner. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 13, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Bryan was born on April 19, 1918 in Turner County and was the daughter of Woodfin Henry Grady Wright and Georgia Lessie Brown Wright, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bryan. She was a homemaker and a member of Waterloo Baptist Church.
Ms. Bryan is survived by one son, William C. Wright of Tifton; six sisters, Willie Mae Young of Nahunta, Mary Spradley of Ashburn, Helen Bledsoe of Arp, Grace Thompson of Ashburn, Virginia Day of Irwinville and Ruby McCurdy of Waterloo; three grandchldren, Pamela Valeri, Susan Wright and Jeff Wright; and one great grandchild, Makenzi Murphy.
