
Vita A. Palmisano, 64 of Saugus died Wednesday at home after a long illness.
Born in Boston, she lived in Saugus and formerly of East Boston and the North End of Boston. She was the daughter of the late Phyllis (Scola) and John Giaimo. Vita was a Medical Asst., employed by East Boston Neighbor Health Center in the Pediatrics Dept.
Beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Palmisano. Devoted mother of Lisa Dello and her husband Steven, Diana Stamatopoulos and her husband Paul all of Saugus, Carol Boehner and her husband Greg, Rene D'Amico and her husband David all of Lynnfield, John Palmisano and his wife Lisa of Tewksbury, Patrick Palmisano Jr. and his wife Michelle of Peabody. Also survived by 16 loving grandchildren. Sister of the late Anthony Giaimo. Sister In Law Arlene Giaimo of Winthrop. Aunt of Andrea Sullivan and her husband David of Winthrop. Further survived by several aunts, uncles, many loving cousins, and dear friends.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Margaret Church, 431 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Sunday 3-8. Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
