So. Lawrence – Mary S. “Sheila” McCarthy, 64, died Tuesday January 9, 2007 at the family residence.
Born in Lawrence Sheila graduated from Saint Patrick’s grammar and high school, and also attended Merrimack College in North Andover.
Mary, for many years was a physical therapist aid for Hogan Rehabilitation in Danvers.
She was a communicant of Saint Patrick’s Church in South Lawrence and enjoyed coastal traveling in Maine.
Survivors include two brothers; Rev. James J. McCarthy pastor of St. Thomas Moore Parish in Braintree, and Gerald F. & his wife Carolann McCarthy of North Andover, one nephew Gerald F. McCarthy, Jr. of Milford, Ma., one niece Stacey & husband Timothy Cassin of Derry, NH, and two grandnephews Ryan & Daniel Cassin.
Mary was predeceased by her parents James & Hannah (Coffey) McCarthy.
A funeral mass will take place on Friday morning at 9 o’clock in Saint Patrick’s Church with burial to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
