BERARDI, - Tullio. 86 of Duxbury, formerly of Marshfield Massachusetts died on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Beth Israel Hospital.
Beloved husband (64 years) of Dorothy (Nelson) Berardi, father of Kristin Nainis (Berardi) Distelhorst (husband Steve Rankin) of Seattle, WA and Victor P. Berardi (wife Kathryn (Johnston) Berardi of Duxbury, MA. Proud grandparent of Christian and Douglas Berardi and Gregory and Luke Distelhorst (wife Ch. Ariunzia). Great grandfather of Amarlin Lily Distelhorst of Mongolia. Brother of Gloria (Berardi) Coyle and Albino Berardi. Uncle to 8 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Panfilius (Ben) Berardi, Dora (Berardi) Briana and Teresa (Berardi) Leo. After completing three years of Army duty in World War 2, Tullio and Dorothy raised their family in Dorchester and eventually moved to Marshfield. A successful large account salesman for Oscar Mayer and Company, Tullio retired at the age of 73 in 1994 after 34 years with the company. He and his wife became world travelers, visiting over 22 different countries in the last 30 years. Tullio had a passion for people, cultures, languages, music, sports, international travel and life. A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 11:00 am at the North Community Church Old Main St, Marshfield Hills, MA with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Tullio’s name to the American Stroke Association 20 Speen Street Framingham MA 01701.
