Florence T. Godbout, 92, formerly of Stewart St., Manchester, died January 8, 2007, at Catholic Medical Center.
She was born in Manchester, December 25, 1914, and was the daughter of Joseph and Erma (Lambert) Elizabeth. She was a lifelong resident of this city.
Florence worked in retail for several local businesses for many years.
She was a lifelong communicant of St. Raphael Church. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.
She was married to Lionel A. Godbout, who died in 2000.
She leaves a daughter, Carole Belanger and her husband William of Manchester; a son, Richard L. Godbout and his wife Susan of Milford; four grandchildren, William Belanger, Nancy Ludwig, Matthew Godbout and Brian Godbout; 10 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, John Belanger in 1997, and Steven Belanger in 1999.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday January 10, 2007 at St. Raphael Church. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
