Obituary

Julie A. MacLean, 61, of West Roxbury died January 7, 2007 at Tippett House after a long illness.
Born in Chelsea, the daughter of Mary P. (Caulfield) MacLean of Marion and the late Neil J. MacLean, she lived in Brookline and West Roxbury most of her life.
A devoted teacher and very fond of children, Julie worked at Learning Prep School in Newton for over 20 years.
Survivors include her mother; her 6 brothers and sisters, Susan Randall, and her husband David, of Louisville, KY, Deborah J. MacLean of Baltimore, MD, Betsy Rego of New Bedford, Peter T. MacLean of Plymouth, Jonathan C. MacLean, and his wife Lisa, of Marion and Mark G. MacLean, and his wife Mary M., of Mattapoisett; 4 nieces, Stephanie, Jessica, Victoria and Kathryn; 2 great-nieces, Ava and Alexia.
She was the sister of the late Neil J. MacLean, Jr.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett. Friday at 9 AM followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Rita's Church, Marion at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday, January 11th from 5-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Julie's memory may be made to Learning Prep School or Tippett House Hospice, c/o her niece Stephanie Fontaine, 215 Bettencourt Lane, Swansea, MA 02777.
