Ralph J. “Sonny” Sarno, 71 of Medford died Friday after a long illness in the Winchester Hospital Winchester, MA.
Born in Boston, he lived in Medford since 1970 and formerly of the North End of Boston. Ralph owned 7 Pushcarts in Boston’s Haymarket for over 55 years and retired in 1995. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958 during the Vietnam War.
Beloved husband of Ann (O´Leary) Sarno. Devoted father of Felice Sarno and her partner Sean Bailey of Medford. Loving grandfather of Colin J. Bailey of Medford. Cherished son of Clara (Manganti) of the North End of Boston and the late Alfred Sarno. Brother of Frederick Sarno and Florence Capozzi both of the North End of Boston.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
