Jaime “Jimmy” Cadena
... plumber, musician, formerly of Tewksbury; 42
NASHUA, NH - Jaime Enrique “Jimmy” Cadena, age 42, a musician with rock band ties
throughout the Merrimack Valley, died Early Sunday morning, Jan. 7, at the Southern New
Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua. He succumbed to injuries sustained earlier in the evening,
in a pedestrian-automobile accident on Lowell Road in Hudson, NH.
He was born in Bucaramanga, Colombia, on October 25, 1964, a son of Jaime N. Cadena of
Tewksbury, and the late Yohesmira “Joyce” (Vera) Cadena. He emigrated to the US in his
infancy, and was raised in Tewksbury. He graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School.
He had lived in Nashua for the last twenty years.
He was currently employed as a plumber for Eastern Border company, and had also worked for
the P.M. McKay plumbing company.
As described by his father, his lifelong passion was in music as a percussionist and drummer for
several area bands.
Besides his father, he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Yohesmira “Joyce” Cadena-
Hannon and Kevin Hannon of Boston; his fathers fiancé, Rachel Cieslik of Tewksbury; maternal
grandmother, Lucy Cohen of Framingham; aunts and uncles, Henry and Marcela Vera-Garcia of
Framingham, Harvey Vera-Garcia, Jorge and Lourdes Cadena, Carlos Cadena, Fernando and
Cecilia Cadena, and Isabel Perez-Cadena all of Colombia; many cousins; and close friends.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, Jan. 11, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, No. Tewksbury. Memorials to the Oblate Fathers’ Infirmary Fund,
P.O. Box 419, Tewksbury, MA 01876 will be appreciated.
