Sickoll Of Whitman, Friday January 5th, Thelma (Hewins), 88, wife of the late Harold Sickoll, loving mother of Charlene Snow of Whitman and Harold B. Sickoll, grandmother of Patricia (Snow) Cowan of Taunton, Karen (Snow) Thibeault of Whitman, Thomas Snow of Carver, Kenneth Snow of Whitman, and the late Sherry (Snow) Ladd, sister of Russell Hewins of Lakeville, and Barbara Josselyn of NH, and the late Harry, Clayton, Raymond, and Arthur Hewins, Marjorie Gorman, Doris Haskell, Arlene Gidis, Avis Cutting and Shirley Piver. She is survived by 5 great and 2 step great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one great grandchild.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday January 9th at 12:00 noon in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel (Rte 58 @ the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 11 AM – 12 PM one hour prior to the service. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. PO Box 1132. Whitman
Thelma (Hewins) Sickoll died Friday January 5th in the Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Harold Sickoll.

Born in Whitman daughter of the late Raymond and Stella (Macfarland) Hewins, she attended Whitman Schools and was a life long resident of the town, and a member of the Congregational Church of Whitman.

Thelma worked at the National Fireworks, Knapp Shoe and as a sales clerk at King’s Department Store.

As well as gardening and yard sales she enjoyed her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Charlene Snow of Whitman, and her son Harold Sickoll, one brother Russell Hewins of Lakeville and one sister Barbara Josselyn of New Hampshire, as well as 5 grandchildren, 5 great and 2 step great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was was the grandmother of the late Sherry (Snow) Ladd, and sister of the late Harry, Clayton, Raymond, and Arthur Hewins, Marjorie Gorman, Doris Haskell, Arlene Gidis, Avis Cutting and Shirley Piver. She was predeceased by one great grandchild.
