Cherished grandfather of Theresa Locke and Dawn Papineau and great grandfather of Gwyneth and Hayden Orland Locke and Elizabeth Papineau all of New Hampshire. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) on Wednesday morning, January 10th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 9 AM. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
Born in Somerville and a lifelong Malden resident, Orlando, at 76 years of age,passed away at the University Hospital in Boston Saturday morning shortly after being admitted for a fall he took on Friday. A devoted member and sacristan for St. Joseph's Church, he previously worked as an assistant manger at McDonald's in Woburn, at Andy's Sportswear in Boston and as a meatcutter at Universal C&R Beef in Boston. Orlando served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
