HAVERHILL - Donald Gene Foote, 51, a resident of Haverhill and former Lowell resident, died unexpectedly January 1st at the Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill.
He was born in Lowell on August 16 1955 and was a son of the late Robert and Helen (Rowe) Foote. He received his education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Foote had been employed as a truck driver for many years.
He is survived by his daughter Wendy Foote of Lowell, three brothers Robert Foote of North Chelmsford, Jay Foote and his wife Judy of Lowell, and David Foote and his wife Maryann of Oregon; his paternal grandmother Louise Foote of Lowell; his girlfriend of many years Sharon Doucette of Tewksbury; and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 1pm in the St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made In his name to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
