Moneghan and his wife Joyce of Pembroke, and the late Roy C. Moneghan. She was the sister of the late Roy Graham. She is survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Violet F. (Graham) Moneghan, 88 died Thursday January 4th at Wingate at Silver Lake Nursing Home after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Samuel J. Moneghan.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri daughter of the late Ephram and Lucille (Lamb) Graham she was raised in Louisiana and moved to Whitman in 1935. She was a communicant of the Holy Ghost Church.
For many years she was a hostess at the Toll House Restaurant and later worked in sales at the Nanci Jane Dress Shoppe of Whitman. While briefly returning to New Orleans she was the store buyer for Miller Wohl Department Store.
In her retirement she traveled extensively but always returned to enjoy her seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mother of James I. Moneghan and his wife Dora of Lincoln, RI , Edward A. Moneghan and his wife Joyce of Pembroke, and the late Roy C. Moneghan. She was the sister of the late Roy Graham. She is survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday January 10th at 9:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel (Rte 58 @ the Rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by a mass at 10:00 AM in the Holy Ghost Church, School Street, Whitman. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday January 9th from 5-9 PM.
