Florence J. Seely, age 81, of Woburn, formerly of Belmont for close to fifty years, died January 3rd following a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Hubert “Moe” Seely and Alexander W. Gorelchenka.
Mrs. Seely was extremely devoted to her family. She enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed caring for her pet dogs and tending to her garden. Mrs. Seely worked for a number years in retail security and customer service. In addition to her late husbands, Mrs. Seely is predeceased by her daughter, Judith E. Gorelchenka, and her brother, Edward Chipman. She is survived by her children, Alexander E. Gorelchenka of Sandwich, NH, Carol F. Blanchette and her husband Ronald of Bedford, Lisa B. Drolette and her husband Mark of Woburn, Glenn H. Seely of Dracut. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Michelle and Ronald Blanchette, Jodi, April and Alex Drolette. She is further survived by her sister Helen DeMilia of Wilmington.
A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Sunday, January 7th, at 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 1 thru 4. Interment will be private.
