Obituary

Bridgewater- Carol A. (Orcutt) Brow, 61, of Bridgewater, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Richard S. Brow.

Born July 7, 1945, in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Delia (Dehay) Orcutt.

She was raised and educated in Brockton, where she was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1962, and graduated from Bristol Plymouth Vo Tech Nursing in 1985.

Mrs. Brow was a licensed practical nurse and worked at the Embassy House in Brockton for 25 years, retiring in 2006.

While working there, she was a Staff Development Coordinator, teaching nursing to employees.

Mrs. Brow founded and was a member of Carolette Majorettes in Whitman and in 1976, her and her husband founded Scarlett Knight Drum and Bugle Corp in Bridgewater.

She had been a resident of Bridgewater for the past 41 years, coming from Brockton.

Mrs. Brow enjoyed shopping, yard sales and flea markets.

In addition to her surviving husband, she was the mother of Cynthia Hamlin of Bridgewater, Richard Brow Jr. of Westport, Thomas B. Brow of Fall River and James M. Brow of Raynham; sister of Roger Orcutt of Brockton and the late Geraldine Rooslet. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Her Funeral service will be in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Monday at 10 am. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 pm. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery.
