Woburn, Robert G. Griffith Jr., age 49 of Woburn MA, died Wednesday at the Winchester Hopital following a lengthy illness. Mr. Griffith was born in Cambridge, MA, the son of Robert and the late Claire (Muse) Griffith Sr. He was a life long Woburn resident and was a 1971 Graduate of Woburn High School and was also a member of the Hockey Team. He worked for a few years as a carpenter until he had an accident at the age of 23 which left him disabled. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Shaugnessy - Kaplin Rehabilitation Hospital, Dove Ave, Salem, MA 01970.
Robert is survived by his father, Robert G. Griffith Sr., a brother, Scott and his wife Jacqueline of Woburn and a sister Gail Griffith of Portsmouth, NH. Loving uncle of Stephen and Danny Griffith both of Woburn. Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Saturday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 100 Washington St. Woburn, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Service will conclude with burial in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
