WORCESTER__Marilyn R. Buckley, 50, of Worcester, passed away Monday, January 1 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. She is survived by her sister, Patricia A. Buckley with whom she lived; a brother, James F. Buckley and his wife Maureen of Hyde Park, NY; nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of William and Anne (Tagman) Buckley and lived here all her life.
Marilyn attended The Mercy Center and Seven Hill Adult Day Health Program. She was a member of the Worcester Girls Club for many years, and a member of the Special Olympic Swim Team. Marilyn was also an avid student of jazz and tap dancing. She was a member of St. Casimir’s Church.
The funeral will be held on Friday, January 5, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298Grafton St., with a Mass at 10:00 am in St. Casimir’s Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday, January 4, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
