Adrien A. Patenaude 95, of Railroad St. Manville died Tuesday in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of the late Jeannette (Girard) Patenaude. Born in Manville, he was the son of the late Alfred and Helene (Leblond) Patenaude.
Mr. Patenaude was a WWII veteran serving in the Army Air Corps.
He was an auto mechanic and service manager for Mack Buick for 24 years and was also a self employed auto mechanic at Fred’s Garage for 23 years.
Mr. Patenaude is survived by three daughters Marguerite Longpre and Helene Palazini, both of Manville, and Yolande Lockett of Cranston, one son Adrien A. Patenaude Jr. of Las Vegas NV, eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Roland Patenaude.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home 463 South Main St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. James Church, Division St. Manville. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
