NEW PORT RICHEY, FL-Phyllis L. (Tebich) Cote, 58, of New Port Richey, Florida, formerly of Lowell, died on Friday, December 29th at home.
She was born in Lowell on December 9, 1948 a daughter of the late Stephen Tebich and Mary (Scarks) Tebich of Chelmsford. Ms. Cote graduated from Lowell High School and earned her nursing degree from the former Lowell Practical Nursing Trade School.
Ms. Cote worked as a registered nurse for Saints Medical Center, when it was formerly named St. John’s Hospital, for many years until moving to Florida in 1991. In New Port Richey she was employe by Southern Pines Nursing Center.
She is survived by her companion of 16 years, Jeffrey Wilcox with whom she lived; three sons, Kevin Cote of Wilmington, Brian Cote and his wife Shelly of Pelham, NH and George Cote of Lowell; two daughters, Shelley Cote and her husband Emanuel Fernandes of Hudson, NH and Jennifer Cote-Champoux and her husband Louie Champoux of Nashua, NH; her sister, Catherine Bonczar and her husband John of Dracut; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Josh Cameron, Kyle, Lauren and Madison Cote; her former husband, Richard Cote of Lowell, many nephews and nieces.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Wednesday from 5 until 8 PM. Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
