LOWELL— Agnes (Flaherty) Lantagne, 83 years old, a longtime resident of Lowell, died early Saturday morning, December 30th, at Saints Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Harold J. ‘Budgie’ Lantagne, who died in December of 2005.
She was born in Barre, on December 29, 1923, a daughter of the late Bryan and Mary (Gray) Flaherty.
Mrs. Lantagne worked for the former St. John’s Hospital Admitting Department, in the 1960’s. She was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality of that parish.
Surviving her are her four children and their spouses: Mary Ann and Stephen Kelley, of Newton; Marguerite and Michael Farley, of Lowell; Bryan J. Lantagne, of Lowell; and Lisa and Robert Klobucher, of Lowell; twelve grandchildren: Caroline Kelley Doucette; Bryce Kelley; Karianne Kelley; Juliann Kelley; Kristin Farley; Michael Farley, Jr.; Lisa Farley; Mary Farley; Robert Klobucher, III; Marguerite Klobucher; Theresa Klobucher and Bryan Klobucher; two great-grandchildren: Victoria Farley and Gavin Doucette; a brother-in-law: Raymond ‘Bussie’ Lantagne, of Lowell; a sister-in-law: Mrs. Gerald (Marion) Lantagne, of Lowell; also many nieces and nephews
She was the sister of the late Joseph W. Flaherty, a former Lowell Police Captain; Monica M. Flaherty and Margaret E. Flaherty.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 3rd, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Her Funeral Mass to follow at 11 AM at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH.
