LAWRENCE - Michael S. Holland, age 48, a former Tewksbury resident, died Saturday,
December 30, at his Lawrence apartment, from an apparent heart attack.
He was born in Melrose, a son of Sally (Batchelder-Holland) McGuinness of Tewksbury, and the
late Gerard Holland. He was raised in Tewksbury, and in his later years, lived with his mother
and step-father, the late Anthony McGuinness.
He graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School with the class of 1976, and later worked in
the electronic assembly division for the Raytheon Company in South Lowell. He later lived in
Attleboro, but returned to the greater Lowell and Lawrence area in 2001.
As a resident of Tewksbury, Mr. Holland was a member of St. Dorothy’s Church community.
He was recalled by his family as having held a lifelong fascination with antiques and collecting
antiques.
Besides his mother, he is survived by two brothers ans sisters-in-law, Stephen Holland and his
wife Patricia of Sandown, NH, Gerard Holland and his wife Sheila of Hudson, NH; several aunts
and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also brother of the late MaryAnn Kleschinsky.
His Funeral Mass was held Saturday, Jan. 6, in St. Dorothy's Church, Wilmington. Burial was in Tewksbury Cemetery.
