Dianne (Larochelle) Sala, 61, of New Bedford died December 30, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Acushnet, the daughter of Aline I. (Brun) Larochelle of New Bedford and the late Walter E. Larochelle, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph-St. Therese Church.
Ms. Sala was employed by First Citizens Federal Credit Union for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her mother; 2 daughters, Lorri Fonteneau, and her husband Roger, of Fairhaven and Karen Gerard, and her husband Leonard, of Wareham; 4 grandchildren, Robert and Courtney Gerard and Taite and Emily Fonteneau.
She was the mother of the late Jason Sala.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett Wednesday, January 3rd at 10 AM followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Joseph-St. Therese Church, New Bedford at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday, January 2nd from 5-9 PM.
