Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish (formerly St. Colman Church) at 10 am. Philomena T. (Pircio) (Graziano) Picchione 86 years of Brockton died Saturday morning at West Acres Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph Picchione and Secontino Graziano. Born in Newark, New Jersey a daughter of the late Peter and Carmella (DiRenzo) Pircio she moved to Brockton as a young girl with her family. She was educated in Brockton and remained a lifelong resident of the city.
For many years Mrs. Picchione worked in the shoe industry in Brockton. She retired from Leo MacIver Co. and had also worked at Stone & Tarlow.
Mrs. Picchione enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She had been a longtime communicant of St. Colman Church.
She is survived by her daughter Mary A. Scarbrough and her husband Ronald of Duxbury. Two grandchildren Ronald Scarbrough, Jr. and his wife Lisa of So. Easton and Claire Joyce and her husband William of Canton. Great grandmother of Hannah Joyce and Matthew Scarbrough. Sister of Theresa Spagone, Anthony Pircio, Laura Ferrara and Joseph Pircio all of Brockton, Marie Sullivan of Avon and the late James Pircio
