Fall River - Russell “Pete” Davis, 70, of Fall River, formerly of N. Dartmouth passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at Crawford Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Donna M. (Brewer) Davis and Sharon A. (Souza) Davis.
Born in Westport, son of the late James H. and Hazel I. (Kirby) Davis, he had lived in Dartmouth for most of his life. Prior to retirement he was a truck driver for Hemmingway Trucking Company and a member of the Teamster Local 257 of Providence, RI. Mr. Davis had an aviary of cockatiel.
Survivors include 3 sons: Thomas A. Davis of KS, Edwin J. Davis of New Bedford and Timothy B. Davis of Fall River; 2 daughters: Susan Lynch of Fall River and Paula Guillette of New Bedford; 2 brothers: Bradford Davis of Independence, MO and Kevin Davis of Westport; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late Ruth Manchester, Marilyn Robidoux, Melba Rosinha, Beverly Patnaude and Allen Davis.

Graveside services to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
