Obituary

TEWKSBURY, MA: Doris L. (Farmer) Bennett, age 74, a resident of Tewksbury for over 40 years, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at her home.
She was the wife of Bernard T. “Red” Bennett, who died May 16, 1995.
Born in Lowell on December 19, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Michael B. and Mildred (Novle) Farmer.
Mrs. Bennett was raised in Lowell, MA and attended Lowell schools.
She was employed for the past 10 years by Ayotte’s Municipal Central Parking in Lowell.
Mrs. Bennett enjoyed shopping, walking and listening to music performed by Dean Martin.
She is survived by three daughters; Bernice D. Chess of Hudson, NH, Brenda L. Clement of Lowell and Diane M. Bennett of Tewksbury; two sons-in-law; Stephen M. Chess of Hudson, NH and John E. Clement, Jr. of Dracut; three grandsons; Joshua, Jason and Justin Clement; two sisters; Mildred Cizek of Lowell and Lillian Pudsey and her husband Gene of Brookline, NH; one brother; Edward Farmer of Lowell.
Mrs. Bennett was the sister of the late Bernard, Paulie, Thomas, Robert, William and Steve Farmer.
Calling hours Tuesday, January 2nd, 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Prayers will be offered Wednesday, January 3rd, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Tewksbury Cemetery. www.farmeranddee.com
