Obituary

PAXTON-Kenneth C. Chin, 66, of Paxton, died Thursday, December 28th, in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife of 45 years, Judy S.L. (Cho) Chin; a son, Robert Y. Chin and his wife Carolyn of Worcester; 3 daughters, Shirley R. Lyon and her husband Michael of Lawrence, Lisa J. Chin of Lynn, and Amy P. Chin of Worcester; a brother, James K.H. Chin and his wife Cecilia of Natick; a sister, Susan Y. Totaro and her husband Sebastian of Playa Del Ray, CA; 6 grandchildren, Matthew, Caitlin, William, Rebecca, Thomas and Brian; nephews and nieces.

Mr. Chin was born in China, the son of James T.Y. Chin and Dong Yet Ming Chin and graduated from Commerce High School. He owned and operated Ken Chin’s Restaurant in Worcester for 36 years and was still working at the time of his death. He was a member of the Shriners, the Worcester Lodge of Elks, and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Mr. Chin was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather who enjoyed being with his family and will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

The funeral is Tuesday, January 2nd, with a service at 10:00 A.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday, January 1st, and from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Tuesday prior to the service in the funeral home.
