Franklin-Jeanette Vivian Bousquet, 75, of 5 Poplar Street died unexpectedly at home Thursday morning, December 28, 2006.
Jeanette was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on March 9th, 1931, the daughter of the late Allen and Rose (Hull) Hardy. She had been a resident of Laconia for many years living on Academy Street prior to moving to Franklin.
Prior to her retirement Jeanette was a Marker at the former Laconia Shoe Company. While living in Laconia Jeanette was an active member at the Laconia Senior Center. She had a true love for animals, with a special place in her heart for squirrels, often caring for them when they were injured.
Besides her parents Jeanette is predeceased by her first husband John Hanson who died in 1958; a daughter, Dawn Marie Hanson who died in 1959; and a grandson, Chad Everett Bedard. She is also predeceased by 8 siblings.
Jeanette is survived by three sons, William Hanson and his fiancé Marleen Layne of Laconia, George Bousquet, Jr. and his companion of Franklin, and Scott Bousquet of Franklin; two daughters, Sandy Rowson and her husband Allen of Gilford, and Judy Patten and her companion Ronald LaMontagne also of Gilford; one brother, Russell Hardy and his wife Marie of Rochester; five grandchildren, Nancy, Kelly, Randy, II, Todd, and Ryan; seven great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Andrew, Dylan, Bradley, Amber, Randy, III, and Tayah; her former husband, George Bousqet, Sr. and his wife Janice of Laconia. Many nieces, nephews, and her faithful four legged companions Fluffy, and Fred also survive Jeanette.
Visiting hours were Thursday, January 4th, 2007 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the Simoneau-Paquette Memorial Home, 139 Church Street, Laconia. A prayer service followed visiting hours at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Michael C. Graham, pastor of Gilford Community Church. Family and friends were invited to attend.
