Obituary

Catherine M. DeNapoli, age 95, of Medford, died following a short illness at the Glen Ridge Nursing Home on December 25th. She was the beloved wife of the late Severo DeNapoli. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late John and Concetta (Saladino) Spina.

Mrs. DeNapoli retired in 1980 after twenty years of clerical work with the R.L. Polk Co. of Boston. Mostly devoted to her family, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with family. Mrs. DeNapoli also enjoyed her time as a member of Medford's Forever Young Club.

Mrs. DeNapoli is survived by her daughters Elena Conley and her husband Frank of Hyde Park and Ann Marcotti of Medford. She is also survived by 14 loving grandchildren and 27 loving great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Mildred Holland.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. DeNapoli is predeceased by her daughter Lillian Scannell, who passed away December 26th, her son-in-law Richard Scannell, Brother Anthony Spina and his wife Eleanor.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Catherine’s memory to the Boston Catholic Television Center, 55 Chapel St., P.O. Box 9109, Newtonville, MA 02158.
